Stray Chapters & Summary

The Golden Joysticks 2022 Game of the Year is a third-person experiment in simplicity, suitable for gamers of all ages. While this title is geared toward a younger audience, those over the age of 12 can simply consider it cat ASMR.

Stray is a tale of an orange cat on a journey to find his friends.

Gameplay

What lands Stray its sweeping accolades and popularity is the game's appeal to gamers' curiosity.

The gameplay is reminiscent of Garfield: Tale of Two Kitties for Nintendo DS, now with updated artwork and more sophisticated feline interactions such as meowing, scratching, and drinking water. The lush haven quickly fades into dark urban corridors and abandoned apartments. Puzzles aren't nearly as challenging as what you might find in Tomb Raider.
